Cadence Task Manager Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Cadence handles information when you use the Android task-planning and reminder app.

Effective 24 July 2026Contact: support.rexsul@gmail.com

Information stored on your device

Cadence stores your optional profile name, tasks, schedules, completion history, preferences, and cached read-only calendar events on your device. It also stores your connected Google account email and last synchronization status when Calendar is enabled. Cadence does not sell this information or use it for advertising.

Voice input

When you choose voice input, Cadence invokes the speech-recognition service available on your Android device. That service processes your speech and returns a text transcript to Cadence. Cadence does not intentionally record or retain raw microphone audio. Your device's speech-service provider may process audio under its own terms and privacy policy.

Optional AI features

AI features are optional and can be disabled in Settings. When enabled, Cadence sends only the text and schedule context needed to respond to your request. Depending on the feature, this can include a voice-command transcript, relevant task details, relevant read-only calendar event titles and times, and schedule or briefing context.

This information is transmitted over an encrypted connection through a Cadence-operated Cloudflare Worker to Anthropic for command parsing or summary generation. Cadence also sends a random installation identifier for fair-use limits, abuse prevention, and service reliability. Cadence stores only numerical successful-request, input/output token, prompt-cache token and estimated-cost measurements with this pseudonymous identifier. Those measurements do not contain command text, task names, calendar content or AI responses. The identifier is not a hardware identifier, resets when app data is cleared, and is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Google Calendar

Google Calendar synchronization is an optional Cadence Pro feature. With your authorization, Cadence requests read-only Calendar access. It uses event information to display busy periods, identify scheduling conflicts, and answer schedule questions. Cadence cannot create, edit, or delete your Google Calendar events. If Pro access ends, Cadence stops retrieving and displaying synchronized events until access is restored; you can still disconnect Calendar and remove its locally cached data.

If both Calendar and AI features are enabled, relevant calendar event information may be included in an AI request when needed to answer a schedule question or prepare a briefing.

Cadence's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.

Subscriptions and purchases

If Cadence Pro subscriptions are offered, purchases are processed by Google Play. Cadence does not receive or store your full payment-card details. The app receives subscription product information, purchase status, and a Google Play purchase token needed to restore access and prevent fraud. The purchase token may be sent over an encrypted connection to a Cadence-operated backend and verified with Google Play before Premium access is granted.

Android permissions

Cadence may request permissions for microphone access, notifications, user-approved exact alarms, vibration, foreground audio playback, biometrics, internet access, and startup rescheduling. These permissions support user-visible voice capture, reminders, app lock, Calendar synchronization, and alert playback. Cadence may open Android's battery-optimization settings for optional review but does not directly request exemption. Permission access can be changed through Android settings.

Data sharing

Cadence shares information only as necessary to provide features you activate:

Cadence does not share personal information with data brokers or advertising networks.

Retention and deletion

Tasks and completion records remain on the device until you delete them or use the task-data clearing control. Disconnecting Google Calendar removes Cadence's connection metadata and locally cached Calendar events. Android's Clear storage control or uninstalling the app removes app-controlled local data, subject to Android backup and restore behavior.

Cadence does not currently provide a Cadence cloud account. AI requests are sent for processing rather than stored in a Cadence user account. Pseudonymous numerical AI usage measurements are retained for fair-use, cost observation and abuse prevention and are configured to age out after approximately 400 days. Service providers may retain limited information according to their applicable configurations and policies.

Security and your choices

Cadence uses encrypted HTTPS connections for communication with Google, Cloudflare, and Anthropic. You can use core local scheduling without enabling AI or Google Calendar, and you can withdraw those optional connections from Settings. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Children's privacy

Cadence is a general productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. Rexsul IT Solutions does not knowingly collect children's personal information through a Cadence account.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as Cadence changes. The effective date will be updated, and material changes will be communicated through the app or store listing when appropriate.
